Avantech tie-rod ends

These steering parts make the wheels moveable and let the wheels turn to a proper angle.

All the steering parts are in charge of comfortable and safe driving but tie-rod ends get worn out earlier than other components. The construction of tie-rod end is based on ball joint. Tie-rod ends have to withstand great loads, speed and rough road conditions. Tie-rod end is the most loaded component of steering system.

Avantech ball joints

Ball joint is an extremely important component of suspension connecting the knuckle and wheel with suspension arm. Ball joint consists of stud with a ball on its end put into metal case with plastic or metal bearing inside. Ball joint is a simple mechanism but very precise at the same time and very sensitive to dirt or water penetrated inside. Ball joint usually wears a boot on it for protection against aggressive environment. If a boot is damaged the whole ball joint get worn out soon.

We use special grease for reduced friction and high quality protection boots and caps.

Avantech stabilizer links

Designed to minimize side heeling when riding a windy road, stabilizer link connects stabilizer bar with suspension arm. Due to the whole stabilizing system we feel comfort when driving sharp turns. Stabilizer links may have ball joints in their construction that makes the linkage of stabilizer with suspension flexible.

Avantech rack ends

Rack ends are designed to transfer a torque from steering gear to wheels turning to a proper angle. Rack ends consist of metal rod and a ball on its end. As rack ends transfer impulses from steering gear to wheels they are always under the load and ball joints get worn. Rack end wear can be followed by knocking sound, excessive tire wear and wheels misalignment.
